Hi, I'm Kim.

I believe people are often far more resilient than they realize, and that meaningful change happens when insight is paired with compassion and practical support.

Many people I work with are high-functioning individuals who appear to have it all together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. They may be navigating relationship challenges, painful past experiences, depression, major life transitions, or the pressure of trying to hold everything together while managing work, family, and daily responsibilities.

My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, gain clarity, and better understand what's contributing to the challenges you're facing. Together, we'll explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, process difficult experiences, and build the confidence and tools needed to create meaningful change.

Therapy should feel both supportive and productive. Clients often describe my approach as warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. While insight and self-awareness are important, I also believe therapy should help you identify meaningful takeaways to apply to your life. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling understood, empowered, and more connected to yourself and the life you want to create.

I bring nearly two decades of experience to my work as a therapist. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona and my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified EMDR Therapist, and have advanced training in Flash Technique, the Gottman Method and Bariatric Counseling.

My approach is tailored to each client's unique needs and draws from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based, relational, and strengths-based approaches. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, past experiences, or a major life transition, we'll work together to find an approach that feels right for you.

I know finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming and I appreciate the trust it takes to reach out. If you're considering therapy and have questions about my approach or whether we'd be a good fit, I'd be happy to connect.
